One of the things I love to do is search Craigslist for sewing related items. I’ll answer the ads and make a trip to pick them up. Sometimes you’ll find that perfect diamond in the rough, highly collectible pattern and this was one of them! It was included in a trunk of other patterns that I picked up for around $40. I have witnessed this pattern go for around $200+ in the past, so finding one in pristine condition for that price was so exciting! Prices will always vary but many serious collectors will pay top dollar for a pattern they covet. This is a Vogue 101; ©1958. It features a one piece dress and matching bolero. All around pleated skirt has a deep inverted pleat at front released above the hem, and notice that little bow at the bottom of that pleat! Released upper bodice front section. Optional shoulder straps. Brief bolero fastens with tied dog ears. Short kimono sleeves. Designed by Duchess Simonetta of Italy.
