Vintage Pattern Spotlight: McCall’s 9490

Rare pattern alert! Hard to find McCall’s 9490: circa 1953.  Would you look at those French Cuffs! I’m in love!

A truly regal coat- fitted for any seasonal combined with a McCall’s dress pattern, it is an ensemble! to be worn, as is, by the tall graceful figure that can carry the sweep of the skirt, the dramatic French cuffed sleeve, the figure molding bodice. A petite figure can eliminate the cuffs and not spoil the lines!

Who would want to eliminate those cuffs!? After all, it’s what makes this pattern spectacular!
