Vintage Pattern Spotlight: Simplicity 3165

This dress is what fairytales are made of! Simplicity 3165; early 1950s. The dart fitted bodice, which may be worn with shoulder straps, folds down at the upper edge, forming a petal on either side of the center front seam. The skirt, cut in four gores, is in a wide flare. A waistband, ending in tie ends in front, tops the overskirt, which is open in front. The dart fitted kimono sleeved jacket has a five button front closing. Turn back cuffs are featured and the jacket is rounded at the lower edge.
